The Rolex Daytona

The Cosmograph Daytona is widely considered to be one of the worlds most desired watches, with reports of a 7 year waiting list for a new model not unheard of. The Rolex Daytona was originally launched in 1963 and was inspired by motor racing and named after the famous Daytona Speedway in the USA. Rolex continues to sponsor an annual race series the track, the Rolex 24 at Daytona. The vintage models of the Rolex Daytona are becoming increasingly scarce and can be very collectable.
